Synopsis

In the quiet light of Stockholm, acting students Greta and Clara share an intimate soul connection that transcends the world's code. Yet, driven by a hunger to be "worthy" of their love, Greta leaves this sanctuary to become the global film star — Margo Alba. Rebranded as "The Face of the Century," she becomes a polished icon designed to satisfy the collective gaze. As she is harvested by the industry that demands submission to its standards, and the public worships the myth, Greta becomes a sovereign glitch in the dream-producing machine. Yet, even as she wrings concessions, she realizes that her global fame has sabotaged its very purpose: the return home.

When she walks away at the height of her success, the industry responds with the ultimate upgrade: Margo 2.0 — a flawless, obedient AI replica of Margo Alba. As Clara, now married, refuses to interact with a simulation over her greatest love, and Greta takes a zero-negotiation stance against her own "digital immortality," the film asks: What becomes of your essence when the border between reality and simulation grows infinitely thin?
